iQoo Z7i launched with Dimensity 6020 chipset

iQoo, the spun-off brand of Vivo, is set to launch its latest smartphone – the iQoo Z7 – in India on March 21. Now, days before the launch of iQoo Z7, the company has announced the iQoo Z7i, the first smartphone to come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6020 chipset, in its home market of China.
iQoo Z7i: Price, availability
The iQOO Z7i will be available in Moon Shadow Black and Ice Lake Blue colours, with three storage and RAM variants. The 4GB+128 GB model will cost CNY949 (around Rs 11,300), the 6GB+128 GB variant will be priced at CNY999 (around Rs 11,900), and the 8/128 GB model will cost CNY1,099 (around Rs 13,100).

iQoo Z7i features a 6.51-inch (1600 x 720 pixels) HD+ 20:9 LCD screen. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 7nm processor. This comprises 4x 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 and 4x 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The smartphone comes in three variants – 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.2) storage.
On the software side of things, the iQoo Z7i runs on Android 13 with OriginOS Ocean.
iQoo Z7i is powered by a 5000mAh (typical) / 4910mAh (minimum) battery, with support for 15W fast charging.
iQoo Z7i features a dual camera setup comprising a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera is 5MP with f/1.8 aperture.
In terms of connectivity, the iQoo Z7i supports 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C. The iQoo Z7i also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which provides added security and convenience. The smartphone also includes a 3.5mm audio jack.
